listening now...
has a nice open sound, good choice of timbres all round, melds nicely. don't know how latin it is but it has a well rounded sound. would like to hear a full longer version of this, is asking for more
;ped
lol im lovin that username, but yea, i'll see what i can do about makin it a bit longer. thanks a ton for droppin the review, i'll hit you back asap!
~Twistedtechnology.
yoyo.
nice litle track, has some nice stumbly polyrythms go'onin when it gets kicking. acid me up
;ped
thanks dude your stuff is cool:)
listening now....
don't get a lot of post rock on ng, some of my stuff heads that way but...
nice mood to the build up, layered guitars work well.
moves along really nicely, doesn't remain static for too long, good dynamics throughout the piece.
you must have spent a while on this, loads of subtle little licks. the metal drop around 3mins is stonking. the drums are very well sequenced, don't sound too shabby either.
i would offer to do some sax on it myself but i don't think i'd do the track justice
10/10 mate

Sweet, I'll be sure to check out some of your stuff. Actually, I write all of my music, then tab it all in a program called TabIt, and record it when I have the time. These guitars were all done in one take each, so there are bound to be some mistakes. That section 2:00 or so is actually just an improvised guitar playing along to a guideline I came up with. I'll just assume "stonking" means "good," so thank you :). For the drums, I used the Addictive Drums VST in FL Studio 7.
If you wanna' record a solo take, be my guest dude. I don't care if it isn't anything special; I just want to hear a somewhat tasteful sax solo in the song pretty soon.
Thanks for the listen/review!
synical...
beat isn't bad, crisp as you like. vox are well crunchy too, well mixed, good job.
loving the irony, synical is the word mate, that last line, classic haha

arfs
some real nice dissonance at around 40secs. seems to lose it's way a bit there, may just be my ears but comes back with avengence around 1:30, that section is great. the adjurning section is good too b4 it kicks back in.
interesting stuff
;ped
Thank you for the review and the kind words.
The dissonance was something that came as a (subtle) result of the pedal I used on the guitar, so I decided to underscore that a bit with some unstable keyboard stuff during that chorus-y chord chug part, if that's what you're talking about at all.
yarp
has a real nice plaidy feel, nice minimalistical lectro drums, has some real potential i reckon, you should work on a full track
;ped
flu tastic
alright dude,
i hate to make comparisons but the movements of the bass and synths reminds me of squarepusher haha.
rolls along nicely, drums are ace. the last minute is groovy as fook, bass work is great.
a pleasure as always
;ped
thanksssssssss
last minute should better be darn groovy, or i spent my first day after being ill not making something ill!
well, I like being compared to squarepusher (although you're a bad boy for doing that) but I don't know exactly which early squarepusher you mean.. Feed me weird things?
yarp
rolls along nicely, good choice of synths

yo bro
lovin this, minimal post rock intro and first section is gold. flows on well and bursts back into the 2:50 bit. drum work is all good.
good, good, good
