dude. glad to see you're still posting here.
great job on this. might give the vocals a shot when I have the house to myself haha.

Thanks!

pretty slick track. only thing from me, i'd give it a bit more of an intro, let it cook a bit first, will add punch to the main track.
welcome back I suppose, just back myself after a 5 year gap.

GershBeats responds:

Thanks for the advice and kind rating! That's maybe not a bad idea, although I'm not sure if I'll take you up on it - I rather like the big kickoff. Maybe if more people tell me that I'll give it a thought. Anyways, welcome back to you as well :)

yeh, finish it mate

just plain and simple awesome chops and wobbles. stick some big delayed dissonant sax on the latter parts, a little slice and dice on the drums and that's one for the album I reckons.
Px

stick some weepy vocals on it mate, what you doing?
really unexpected. really good. not unexpected that it's good... nevermind.
pretty flawless track champ.

good fun this. does a lot. flows well. militaristic optimism and mysterioso suspense abound. end it properly yeh?

wicked, another intergalactic western. you should do an album of this. is that a trumpet? the live elements work really well.
I really like this. great ambience to it. I would crank the bass a bit, I wanted it to rattle me.
will definitely check out some more of your bits after hearing these two.

ParagonOfDolor responds:

Ahaha, thanks, glad you enjoyed it. At first upon reading this review, also the one for "Foundation" I was like western...??? But I can see that in the lead melodies, plus I've been told my guitar and writing styles for bands that they sound oriental and southern... I grew up loving video games, westerns, horror, sci-fi and anime, so I guess the influences must have seeped into my subconscious and made the style I've created. I generally don't try to fit my music to a specific genre, I let them naturally flow as I write them; creating mostly just weird stupid shit, but sometimes it works out pretty good.

pretty cool beans chap. I agree with ceeex about the snare.

Airprogressive responds:

hmnm... I'll think about it for the future

thank you bro!

good track. genre - intergalactic western. Rolls along nicely. erm, not much criticism really maybe drums could be a little louder but they work for the track and that's coming from some1 whos drums are normally too prevalent.

ParagonOfDolor responds:

Thank you. Programming/writing drums/percussion is my weakest point, but I'm working on it and learning new things... always learning...

pretty banging chap.
two things from me- the end part is great though I thought that grizzly synth was a touch loud. also the main sections could benefit from a few more dropouts in which i'd filter sweep parts.
nice one

Assios responds:
