holy crapsicles

yo tangy, listening now... like the porta bass synth. good harmonies and melodic structure so far. all timbres sit nicely, guitar comes in smooth. yo the little ler jazz guitar turns, shweet... needs some intimate patton vocals in portugese, my only constructive jibe. building up now with that pink floydd synth. dropped out to the organ, really nice melodic stuff again... damn, it's finished.
really really really good job, some of the melodic subtleties were really quite special, respec the wintang.

WinTang responds:

Oh man it's so awesome if someone comments on the details, it shows you have really given this a thorough listen and that pleases me more than you can imagine :)

Feel absolutely free to add some vocals, I don't know Portuguese and besides, I'd be very very interested what you make of it. I'll check your new track out tonight.

Thanks a lot for your review!!

hehe, nice wacky synth work. like the reverse reverb type thing on 1 of the early synths. hmmm, yeh, is pretty well done, is something a bit too predictable
about it... think it is just the chord progression really... i think it might benefit from dropping into a completely contrasting section... but what do i know:/

pitbulljones responds:

hey ped' nah you're pretty much spot on with everything you said here. the chord progression is fairly predictable, tried and tested, but predictable. the reversed reveb thing you're referring to im sure is a guitar with delay on it just playing singluar notes n tempo sync. it's been mentioned a fair few times it needs a B section this track. one day it'll get it. cheers mate

reeeevoooin now

k, nice crisp beat comin in... like the high groaning synth thing. nice functional guitarnessness... everything sits really well. i like it, doesn't do too much but flows real nice and has a good mood.
good job

pitbulljones responds:

hey ped, thanks for reviewing me track. this is probably my most accomplished beat to date, just has a full sound which i think has been lacking on my other stuff. and i always try to portray a mood ofsome sort. anywys thanks man yet again.

meeeeega maaaaaaaaaaaaaan

i love mega man so i end up loving most versions i hear of any tracks. even tho i really don't like this kind of music (mainly the beat) it still gets a 9 from me coz it is very well produced and, of course, its megaman:)
good job

mmmmm..... olive

k, sounding good. interesting sound to the piece, lots of nice little things going on. yeh, should definately think about a full version, need to take it somewhere else. so far so good imo:)

StrangeEncounters responds:

For sure. But can I have the rest of that olive?

lol erkie!!!!!!!!!!

hehe, yeh.
anyways, not a bad track, a little generic for my tastes but then my stuff is too leftfield for most so...
yeh, some more variations on the drums would go a long way i think. liked the lead melody line, the bass needs to be turned way up for a bit more impact. also i think a drop into a contrasting section would help this track out somewhat. mwahaha, i may be a cunt but at least this was semi constructive

erkie??
lol, thx for the real useful review! its definitely constructive!!
yeah, I know..lol..a few people thought bass was too quiet! i'll try to fix that for future. That 'contrasting section' idea sounds cool..might try something like that!
cya ped, i'll check your 'leftfield' music! they a band?
