nice build up of timbres. don't know if it was intentional, but when something loops and it almost cuts, that is sick. ooh, nice distant synth a little while after the drums come in, nice. is a cool track, sounds a bit like er, whatdya call em?... arcade fire, without the annoying whining voice.
;ped
Al;reet mate, No that cut isn't intentional, it's a mixing problem from conversin from midi to audio, don't know why at all.
yea that synth i cud have brought forward in the mix but i thought best to keep it low as it comes in ad out of the mix. anyways thanks very much for the review, i'll bob by and review you shortly.
bollox
u get straight 10's for this coz i cant hear a fuxin thing, whatever film theey're watching has gone up a notch in craziness and volume. gonna assume this kicks ass. will have to review the rest of ur stuff later.
great track, terrible production, i hate u
;ped
Woot! Free 10's! Lol, kick your sister out and come back :)
heck yes i do
something very plaid-like to this. sax work was really well, john zorn overones in places where it gets scatty. main bass synth thing carries the whole thing alng. are a bunch of production issues i think, couldn't say for sure, my sister and her boyfriend have got the tv turned way up and these headfones are shit but i think the drums are far too quiet. overall excellent feel to this
;ped
Jesus Christ dude, first Monk and now Zorn... what's next? Zappa? Hahaha, big thanks for that man, I take that as a huge compliment!
Drums too quiet, yeah, I sure half-assed them a bit so they kinda fade into the background. Might be revamped some day, but otoh, it's just a little ditty anyways, I've learned from it.
I just listened to rapture 2012 again a few times, it's really fucking awesome. Expect a PM on the double.
chopin with a hint of monk
really nice moments in this, some of the blue note scatyness meminded me of thelonius monk, were dubussy moments too. great stuff, i think some people have given technical pointers in other reviews, i couldnt comment, but theres enuf feeling and personality here to make technicalities seem moot
;ped
Dude, Monk?! Kickass!! Wow, that was an unexpected pleasure :)
Thanks for seeing through the technicalities my man, you're a valuable costumer!
tick tock
cheeky as hell. maybe coz i know ur a bungle man, i kept expecting patton to start whispering or maybe screaming maniacally in portugese. great track, awesome instrument combinations and transitions from section to section. hehe, gets better the more i listen, has looped 4 times whilst reviewing.
;ped
Haha! Yeah I called Patton, but he wasn't up for the job :)
Thanks for your appreciation!! I'll check out that song with the Goodbye Sober Day sample right now!

i really liked the vocals on this. had a bit of trouble with the timing on some of it, specially the beginning, might of been clearer if the mix was a little cleaner. lookin forward to hearing more from u tho.
